Thinking of finally getting a Mac as the iPhone SDK doesn't work on Windows

The benefit of a Mac too [at least in the instance of Leopard (10.5)] is the fact you can run Bootcamp with it. So if you've got a version of Win XP, you could install that as well and run the two OS's in parallel. That's what I do with mine and it works quite effectively.
That's what I was considering; more and more stuff seems to be moving to the Mac or works better on the Mac, I need to make the move and some point and learn how OSX works
It's definitely got a learning curve to it if you've been exclusively a Windows user. In my case I was a Windows user for 20 years before changing roles at work. I was handed a MacBook and said "what am I supposed to do with this." That said the creative aspects (digital media, video production, etcetera) are just awesome on a Mac. Both have their strong points really.
